Newsflash: Timeskips are lazy

At least that's how it seems to me. I've been reading back through my books and I just cringe inwardly every time I skip a large chunk of time. What were people doing during that time? Was there really nothing happening? I know very well my characters were busy doing important things, so why did I skip all of it ( Read more... )

It just... I look at the source code and my inner programming nerd cringes at how bletcherous and clunky it is. Then I go look at DW's source code and get a warm fuzzy.

Plus I just discovered that LJ tried to renew my paid account without my permission, and the only reason they failed was because the credit card I used is no longer in existence.

Yeah, a lot of people were having that problem. Those of us who use paypal to pay for our accounts didn't get that little bug.
