You probably have the rich text editor on. Which means you could just use the hyperlink button to make something into a link.

Highlight the text you want people to click on, and hit the "insert link" button (just to the right of the text formatting buttons). Paste the url into the blank.

Or at the top left of the text entry box, change from visual editor to html.
