Having a kidney stone was the most painful experience of my life. I'm just recovering this week. I did too much yesterday and now I'm exhausted.

This is always the hardest time of year for me. Last year, i was a new mom and i was so overwhelmed and run down. I can't imagine how mothers without help do it. Brett was/is a godsend.

I hate the gloomy presence of February. We had one day of nearly 60° and it was so wonderful. It's always a good reminder that this gloom will come to an end.

When i go to use my phone, i start to swipe "Facebook" without even thinking. How did that happen? I thought giving it up for Lent would be moderately inconvenient, but it's actually difficult. I don't like that I've subconsciously learned to need it. No one needs it.

L's doctor recommended that she go to bed a little earlier so that she can transition into one, long nap. Well- this fucking sucks. She wakes up at 6 and I'm supposed to keep her up until 12. Oye.
