I don't expect to finish all of these this year-had we but world enough, and time, etc.-but it's good to have choices.

* Ada, or Ardor (589) by Vladimir Nabokov

man... you've got a great collection of books here. read most of them, and they are brilliant. my faves would have to bee allende, woolf and joyce. ;) have you read his short story "the dead" yet? it made me cry, my fave short story EVER.

I'm so glad this list is a good one. I started "The Dead" but got sidetracked, and I haven't finished it yet though I have friends who rave about it too. Thanks!
