It seems lately we've been digging up a lot of interesting stuff. Particularly stuff about an Officer Daniel Wallace, who may be our key to getting into that storeroom in the back (so to speak) and our key to finding out a lot more about this crazy place.

Well, better to take a look yourselves and tell me what you think.

Diary page in the police station )

check it, notes, investigation, d.w., daniel wallace

Trevor? That's an interesting name to be brought up, especially considering the context it's in. For all the people here who claim to have never heard of Umbrella, everything here seems too closely tied with them to be a coincidence.

I want to try to find out more about this Carolyn woman. At first I thought she was just that guy's wife or something, but something tells me there's more to her than that.

((ooc: What is this hiatus you speak of? ugh it's gonna suck when I leave and won't be able to check back for a week. ;;))

Ironic, isn't it? Let's just hope she wasn't writing books about mansions and zombies, otherwise I'd really have to start wondering.

I agree. Whoever she is, she has something of interest, whether it's our key or maybe even something else.

I never saw the files and diaries myself, but if there's anything you remember from them that can come in handy, don't be afraid to speak up.

From the way this guy describes her, "Carolyn" could even be a child for all we know. Or she might've been someone who just saw too much. Either way, it's worth making a fuss about, at least until we find something a bit more substantial.

We need to look for the last location of this Carolyn woman. Odds are high, she had the key.

They...more than one, a group? Again? And they organized in the hospital...

And a woman named Trevor who used to write...we should also investigate the library.

Just wish I didn't feel so weak right now

There wasn't anything else at Wallace's apartment, assuming they stayed together. It might be good to check out the other apartments in the area for a clue.

A group in the hospital. Doctors maybe?

So the library, and the hospital too. Something happened there. I need to find out what.

Just leave it to me and the rest of us at the station. You should rest, Cybil.

Yeah. Considering the circumstances of what it must have been like when this town fell apart, they probably made some shelters elsewhere, too. If we can find out where she was, I think we'll find the key.

If we find out more about this Trevor woman, we might get a clue into where Carolyn is.

It's not having enough rest - I'm getting plenty of sleep. It's seeing everyone disappear.

Why should we even care? They sound like old scraps of paper left over by some dead guy.

Because not investigating these kinds of things means we'll probably all be stuck here.

It sounds like we're going to be stuck here either way.

Maybe. But I think we can find out what's repressing everyone's abilities this way, as well as get more food and supplies to everyone.
