I bought a new phone.
I am alarmed by the fact that the instruction manual needs to include the following prohibition:
"Don't try to dry your phone in a microwave oven"

I mean... really? This is an issue?

Well, lucky you know now to dry it off by, say, dropping it in a toaster.

Historically, it's the household canine that is responsible for these warnings. A woman once did give her poodle a bath, and decided that the quickest way to dry it off was in the microwave. Big mistake. She sued, and won, because afterall, the microwave never said not to do it. These (seemingly) straightforward and unnecessart warnings have appeared ever since! So there's a little history on Microwaves vs. Cell Phones 101.
