God IS so amazing. It's so incredible to even think about. He created us, his own masterpiece. The way people throw that away...and say God is not real. I wish I could show them. Should I have them read a case for Christ by Lee Strobel? I heard that could help them. I want to read it too. Anyone else know anyother good readings that show ( Read more... )

I'm very pro life too! It's sad though, now-a-days they have this technology that tells them if the mother is going to have complications, that she is at risk of death, or the baby is at risk of death, or the baby is at risk of having a disability. Because they NEVER KNOW THAT FOR CERTAIN. The Lord can change His mind anytime He wants to while that babies in the womb, And what He does, He does. It's final. No more "if ands or buts" about it. The doctors tried to get my aunt to have an abortion. They said that my baby cousin would have down syndrome, and be deaf. But my aunt went along with it. And you know what? He has no disability whatsoever. Oh gosh, I'm rambling...
It's nice to see that you added me
In Christ,
Mandi

I agree, although there are times where maybe it's something God does have in mind for you, like as in if you may die in the process....or they say you might, you need to pray. maybe God WILL tell you to have an abortion. I don't know how God works 100% and neither does anyone so just PRAY cuz thats the best :).

I'm very against abortion. The way I see it...since the child doesn't have a chance in what to say, then it should be kept. And if the parent[s] don't want to keep the baby, then they should give it up for adoption. There's so many teens out there especially having children and then having abortions. That's not the way a child's life should be thrown away - much less never should be thrown away in anyway. A lot of teens go around having too much sex - whether protected or unprotected - and it's caused a lot of problems these days. They should think of the consequences and learn to take responsibilities before making a HUGE decision in their lives. It's not in any form of birth control.

i agree, if people are "mature" enough to have sex, then they should have to deal with consequences. There should never ever be a reason to have a baby aborted due to your own choices. I'm a little more understanding for rape victims...but still. They should put it up for adoption or keep it.

yep.

in some instances where a girl is raped - some can't help it if they are.

but others who go out to a party, get drunk, and get raped - that's a diff. case. [i.e. my cuz was in that sit.] - tho she didn't get pregnant.

I am prolife too, except in ONE situation - when the womans (the mother of the baby) life is in danger. If sum1 gets pregnant cos they were stupid and didnt realise the effects of sex its their own fault. HOWEVER with rape i feelthe child should still be givn birth to, other options are available such as adoption.

hi :) i came across you in the army of christ community, just in case you were wondering who this random person was haha. i can tell you're seeking god, and that's so great. it's always nice to know about other people's struggles, whether they end up successes or defeats. i've had plenty of both :)

i was wondering, it sounded like you were saying that it's wrong to be goth. why do you think so? i'm curious to hear what you have to say.

oh, and also, where in michigan are you from? i grew up in ann arbor and i'm about to graduate from hope college in holland, MI.

mkay, well i dont think it's wrong to be goth, just depends on what you consider goth. Like the ones i'm comparing it to be bad to is the ones who are all lesbians, do drugs, and campaign against christ, i dont hate them though. I try to understand them and help them where I can. im from romeo, mi. understand better about my goth theory? I didn't mean to make it look like i think its wrong to be goth, i am friends w/some pretty hardcore christian goths :) their pretty sweet.
