Its quite interesting to say the least. I spend a lot of my free time now watching lectures on tube.

I recomend checking out this
"Lord Christopher Monckton Speaking in St. Paul"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stij8sUybx0
or anything by the two Australians Prof Ian Plimer or Prof Robert M Carter (Bob Carter)

Don't worry. I wont go all tinfoil hat on you. I only posted this in here for my own reference. If anyone would like to see more on climate change I think thats great. Theres alot of public debate about it. And you gotta be able to steer past the crap but theres a lot of scientists who are skeptics of man made global warming who are quite reputable.

If you have a look into the whole thing you will find that even if the ice ontop of land melted, it wouldn't effect see level as much as other factors do. The sea level has been rising and falling slowing for thousands of years now and will continue to do so with or without us.

As for ice expanding when it melts.
It actually takes up more room when its frozen.
Think about putting a bottle of water that's full to the top in the freezer.

As for the experiment, I tried that and fudged it up.
If you do it, I would really like to see the footage.

I'm pretty sure I'm right, but I would love to see regardless.

That was the editor. I wrote "98'". He thought I was talking Fahrenheit (even if it were, it would still be grossly inaccurate) .

So yeah, I was referencing to the year 1998 and he sequentially edited the whole paragraph to say what you see there.

I rang and complained and he said write in another letter correcting it but he didn't put it in.
