Jamie, our Sheltie, has been in bad shape for a long time. I won't go into it, but we've set the date to put her to sleep.

I'm going to try not to get worked up about it. It needs to happen. But I still feel like a life leaving this world, especially one as sweet as Jamie's, should make a deep mark.
