Yesterday, my dad called me after lunch to talk, which is rare - 'at work' and 'long talk' are the keywords - unless he has something big enough to tell me. The 'big' matter turned out to be that the desktop at home was attacked by a virus, and AVG was giving 'Trojan' warning. He said about 2000 files were infected, according to a certain virus

Me too! I was panicking and acted like a fangirl right through - I don't care about other stuff but my video collection! x_x - but yes, it's yet another lesson. ^^ <3

ack! I had that kind of virus too right after I reformatted my computer.. T.T thinking that "more protection" would be good, I was just clicking ok and ok until it just installed tons of viruses in my laptop... >.< aigooooo... but glad to know your files are intact.^^

Isn't it very sad when people disguises bad with good? =( I'm probably thinking too much again, but I think it's the worst thing to do, yet it's the nature of evil. I'm very glad to have my files intact too! ^^; I might take a friend's advice and buy 320GB external hard drive for backup. xD

when my laptop gets attacked by viruses, i tend to not sleep until i get rid of it. or if it's necessary to sleep, i dream about it T_T it's so frustrating.

Exactly what I did! x_x;;; I think my father still feels guilty about it - which he shouldn't have - because he hasn't been using it again. ._. I must remember to say something to ease it off later. ^^;
