Moving Kitties

I am awake at 1:34 a.m. not because I have watched too many tsunami (not a word I wanted to learn to spell) videos, but because today I am moving my cats to the farm. Do they have to be indoor-outdoor cats? It sounds like the safety fears would be alleviated if they stayed indoors.

Feral cat communities can be brutal about establishing hierarchy, so I'm hoping they can stay inside--especially the elderly one. Not to mention the contagious diseases in feral communities.

True. I think the cats will be indoor cats. I want to have a screened area on top of one of our porches for them to go outside. As far as the feral cars are concerned, we adopted them a few weeks back. They are spayed and neutered, and have had their shots. There are so many other threats that I am very worried. However. I think they will be better off with me than without me.
