I think the Pacific Northwest is likely to be cooler and wetter than most of the rest of the world, as global warming continues.

But this year and last year have been a little too cool for good crops, and even though the cool temperatures are more comfortable for humans, a crop failure is still a crop failure.

Look at how many of our most common crop vegetables originated in the Americas.
