Very, very normal! You're getting to that point where the tiredness is catching up with you right when he's probably going through a growth spurt and is going to be really sucky. I used a soother with both Emma and Liam and it helps a lot of the time, but not during those phases. Sometimes it works to breastfeed until he starts to drift off and slip the soother in. Other times the only thing that works is to alternate between breastfeeding and the rocking chair ( ... )

I am glad to hear its normal.

I went for dinner with some girlfriends last night and they all said if the swing works to put him in it. One girlfriend said her son slept in his carseat for several nights because thats the only way he could get him to sleep.

He actually started taking his soother again last night. I didnt want to shove it in his mouth but I think I wasnt holding it in there long enough. It takes him a few seconds to realize he needs to suck on it. So he seems to be taking it better now.

I never really now when he has gas...how do you know for sure???

Thanks!!

Hopefully Steve and I will be able to go out for dinner tomorrow night. His parents are coming over to look after Luke.

Steve is so sweet...he bought me a beautiful sapphire and diamond necklace and I just got flowers delivered from him. So sweet :)
