Oh wow, that's amazing. That's great to hear, I'm so happy for you. =) I definitely know how that feels, to have all those depressed emotions suppressing your heart for many days, and then to finally have them lift off your shoulders in an instant. It's a great feeling. Praying on time is one of the things I fail at, so insha Allah I'm going to try to start praying on time as you did. <3
Also, I find supplication (especially in the last third of the night) amazing..you start off your dua with tense and anxious feelings, but once you finish, it's like you're heart is so calm and free of those ugly emotions. It's like some kind of white blanket came and swept over it. Truly a serene and calm feeling.
Oh, I think you should definitely start praying on time! =)
I speak out of personal experience when I say that there is simply NOTHING more rewarding than that (there is also a Hadith that says there is nothing more pleasing to God than praying on time.. now I can see why).
And the supplication in the last third of the night.. oh my God, I absolutely recognize those amazing feelings you described. It feels completely out of this world, huh? =) If only we could stick to it more often (life can occupy us too much, unfortunately).
May you find all the peace and the happiness you deserve, sweetie~ <333333
:) I have a question for you. There is someone I know, who is an atheist and we were talking about religion a few days ago, a very civilized discussion, thank God. He told me his opinions and then I gave him my perspectives. He said something like, he was talking from the grounds of ignorance so one should feel free to correct him. He listened attentively when I spoke. I offered to give him some books on Islam and he said ok. One of my roommates said that he was probably just being polite and maybe he wasn't really interested, and thinking that made me sad. Should I still give him the Islamic books? :(

If I could prostrate to God in gratitude for the rest of my life I would totally do it! But alas, I'm not an angel.

It's been nearly 2 months now, but surprisingly my happiness IS increasing!
I've never been happier, Alhamdulilah, and I know that I don't really deserve it.. God is just THAT generous.
