*big squishy hugs*

So, this means we get to read something you've written at some point as well as being incredibly impressed at your geekitude with the whole encryption malarky?

Yay, and double yay! *grin*

Eventually, yeah ;D

At some point I am gonna have to get over the whole nervousness about going public... It wasn't easy with my first short scribble, but a friend was in need.

He was running a fan fiction contest and was dismayed at the total lack of interest (from a user base of probably about 2000 or so)... In the end there were two entries... I guess bare minimum for a contest xD

But yes :) At some point, when I have had the time to think up some characters of my own and put 'em through some terrible ordeal (which would be my spelling) Then yes, sometime you will be able to read something I wrote.

...geeky revelry works any time xD

I found NaNoWriMo was great for going semi-public with original characters - because it's done in a month with no editing, no one expects it to be wonderfully marvellous - a coherant plot is considered a bonus :-) Also, any people you get feedback from are generally feeling just as nervous about you reading their story...

but that's probably enough pimping for now ;-)

PS Don't know what it's like in MK, but the Oxfordshire lot met up semi-regularly through November, and have met in various configurations once a month since then :-)

I might have to look into that :o

Right now, I'm still trying to think up something that's nice and not derived from something else or someone elses work *Chuckles* That's the hardest part... I've always done best at taking a minor, underdeveloped character from something else and spinning a yarn involving them...

I've just gotta figure out how conjour (sp?) a minor, underdeveloped character of my own to work with xD
