Fics: Episode 1x01 Premier
Well claudiapriscus mentioned in her comments on 1.01 that it'd be an interesting AU if Crichton had not hit and killed Crais's brother and had joined the peackeepers. I wondered if there was fic on this idea already and... there is:

I have not read it (yet) but perused the opening paragraphs. Tags on delicious have it as het John/Aeryn and it appears to be long.
I also wondered about DK/childhood friend and lamented his brevity BUT in my search I found a fic from DKs POV. I think (fairly sure) we only see him in 1.01 and if he's mentioned again, I also don't recall, so this may be an interesting read.
