Clones! Space bugs! and .... wait for it, Sebbacian Heat Stroke.

A brief aside, if I was Aeryn, I would be in serious danger of constant over heating with Crichton around (cough)

But back to the episode.

The whole clone story, working with the PKs and just general confusion is quite entertaining, let alone Crichton's frustration of being thrust into a leadership role in a place he still doesn't fully understand.

All, in all... good episode!

Though I have to say that the whole mammal endangered by even mild temperature increase is the sort of thing only sci-fi writers would dream up. Nothing would evolve that way. That was my first impression, at least. (Much, much, much later explanations are kind of ret-conny fridge brilliance.)

I do like though, in retrospect, how the show built from what it introduced. (This leading to the whole Larrac thing leading to the whole Gammak base, etc, etc.)

ETA: Jetlagged brain meant in the sense that they introduced ideas that they built on.

Yeah... I agree on the mammal heat thing AND ret-conny fixes. And add into that mix Scorpius with his Scarren half and the Sebeccins are more reptile than mammal :)

Glad your back
