Hey everyone! The comm is still around; I have had not had dependable internet for a while, but hopefully that is all fixed now.
And I have the results for Challenge 5 right here.

Omg, what, I'm really shocked to see our previous winner go :O that's an amazing icon too! Certainly better than mine, so I feel quite guilty winning with it :p But I'd like to see the comments anyway, unscreened is fine!

#01 - the image in the circle looks awkward the way it's superimposed over the main image

BEST
#01 - I love the soft richness of the B&W. Excellent icon.
#01 - I really love the b&w and the composition.
#01 - I love the crop and the black&white coloring. The circle is amazing and I the contrast is great! I love the shrapening, too.
#01 - I love the composition of this and the b/w colouring is beautiful.

I'm not going to say I'm surprised at all. Real life if making it really had to find any Photoshop time and when I do I'm just not inspired.
Congrats john_scorpy...that icon is gorgeous

Could I have feedback for 4 please, unscreened is fine

#04 - while the combination of blue and purple is appealing, the color overpowers the image, making it look awkward and fuzzy
#04 - John needs more sharpening, but the coloring is great
#04 - The coloring seems a bit off, the three different colors are interesting, but take away from the subject. But I like the crop
#04 - Really love the vivid coloring, but I think the subject gets lost a bit in the softness/blurriness of the icon.

BEST
#04 - The coloring is flattering and just so very gorgeous with its soft glow and spot on vibrancy. The way the left side has more blue hues while the right has purples gives the coloring that something that makes it really eye catching. I'd sharpen his face a bit more, but otherwise it's a perfect icon.
