Expect spoilers for everything in here, including the comics.
1. Everyone is grieving, trying to move past their love for Zhaan and towards a future without her. Well, almost everyone. Jool is trying to establish herself.
2. "Feeling left out, D'Argo? We're the only ones without voices in our head." <3 Aeryn. I love you best.
3. Aeryn trying to save the kid, because in him she sees someone who is too young, who shouldn't be a soldier. Who shouldn't die, because she's the one who does that, she's the one who should die...
4. Of course, if this were an episode of Star Trek, they would change things for the better. But this is not Star Trek, this is Farscape, and they always skate too close to the edge. It's heart-breaking for them to know that they doomed these women and children--whether by action or inaction, their mere presence changed the course of history.
5. D'Argo will never get to meet that little girl again.
6. I had forgotten how much people on this show scream and shooout. And while it's annoying, it works perfectly for who they are and what situation they're in.
It's funny, I thought this afternoon at work that I would have so much to say about this episode, but I really don't. Pity.
Next week is Eat Me, which is Farscape doing horror. If you're of a squeamish turn, you have now had warning.
As a peace offering, here are the audio tracks of DD and Eat Me (I recommend listening to the latter in a well-lit room during daytime hours with people around).
