Discussion Post: Episode 3.08: Green-Eyed Monster - GENERAL
Expect spoilers for everything in here, including the comics.
1. I'm just going to get this out of the way, and then apologize. See, I know that John has his reasons and all, but he spends most of this episode acting like an utter asshole. I really wish Aeryn had smacked him once, or that he'd apologized. (sorry, I don't normally bash, though I suppose this might fall under criticism? meh, I don't know)
2. I love the budong, I love the entire concept of a gigantic thing eating astral bodies and generally stalking spaceships.
3. Stark having a good plan! Hurrah! And this is, what, time #2 where vomit has been a required plot point? (Crackers was the previous one I'm thinking of)
4. Ok, so, I used to dislike the Stark and Rygel bits, but they're actually the comic relief and the fun part of this whole thing (and Stark is evolving, but slowly. He's staying because Zhaan asked him to, and sometimes I wonder if he'd rather run)
5. Aeryn <3 I love her taking the finger of friendship and then showing Talyn that she needed John and making her own choices. Ok, so I really love the making her own choices part.
6. It's wierd, watching this time through, because I think I hated Crais before? But now I'm just sort of like "Crais, y'know, he's this guy..." and I find Crichton's distrust annoying.
next week: Losing Time (it's time for St. John of the UT)
