The other day I saw the movie 嫌われ松子の一生 (Kiraware Matsuko no Issho). International Name: Memories of Matsuko. (So the international translation just left out that she's despised = kiraware. Nice, very nice ( Read more... )

Aaaaaa ... ah. Aaaaaa. actually I just wanted to comment to show you that now I also have a pretty, shiny icon ヾ(*´∀`*)ノ

seems like an interesting movie... I should check it out, I think =D
and yes we're all lost and it's nice. weird but nice. I would never want to change that. living without a soul and a lost heart is actually one of the most perfect decisions here... I suppose.

so now we can finally keep on talking forever XDD Not that I already expected you take this photo for your icon here ^___^

Naah ... don't make it look more lost than it is. I think I still have my soul and everything else with me. I'm not lost. I was made for living like this, it's my purpose in life so it's not like I lost something on the road like souls. I also don't die here. :D

it's weird that you mentions both Memories of Matsuko and Kokuhaku in one post because i freaking LOVE both films! Especially Matsuko - such a great film. I have the soundtrack on my pc. I'm surprised they had it dubbed. How did they cope with the fact it's kinda a musical?

And, yes! about the fandom stuff! I've never written either. I know if I did I'd just be forever waiting for something when I know nothings ever going to happen XD

I've no idea how they dubbed it because I simply didn't buy the German DVD. I was just checking out if it WOULD be available here ^^ But I guess they didn't dub the songs. There wouldn't have been been any budget for that because after all no one cares for Asian movies around here.

I also planned to watch "shimotsuma monogatari" and maybe the rest of Nakashima Tetsuya's work. Did you see any other of his films?

Oh I see. That would be a shame like that, since the songs and their lyrics are so important to the story. I guess you could follow it without them, but they add so much!

I've only seen those two and Kamikaze Girls (shimotsuma monogatari). It's been a while since I watched Kamikaze Girls and I don't really remember it as much as the other two. I vaguely remember liking it, or at least not hating it. Maybe I should watch it again.

I've also seen Lala Pipo, which apparently he wrote, does that count? It was bizarre (actually, all the films mentioned have a touch of bizarre about them, in their own way) but actually turned out quite interesting. You have to not mind a lot of vulgarity and stuff though. As a plus, it has Hiroki Narimiya in it.

Ah, sorry, I usually drift away from whatever I wanted to write because my brain just works like this XD But I think a real life documentary wouldn't change much about its outcome ^^'

btw. Did you continue watching Tsubasa's home video for rainy days when he's alone, can't spend his day in the sun to get even more tanned and has to drink beer in front of his 3D TV watching Takizaaa talking to his Ouji car and failing at traveling in the cutest way even possible Takki's J'J DVD? :))
