I put in excerpts from various stories, ancient and modern, fanfiction and original, and got Stephen King across the board. That didn't seem interesting enough to bother posting. I think I'd have appreciated it more if it had explained the way it worked...

So, Shakespeare, huh? BTW, I had Zombie Girl read W/E ^__^

I find it interesting that Stephen King came up across the board, though. . . so some sort of analysis is going on there. .. but you are right. . . there should be some explanation on how it works. . .

So, what did Zombie Girl think of it?

Lessee... she said she really liked the way it seemed like Sano was so desirable that everyone wanted him, but it was kinda subtle. I can't remember what else.

Well, clearly this is a good epic novel; but we knew this already. :D (That is dang impressive, though --- I didn't know Uncle Bill was even one of the options.)

There seems to be some controversy about the choices. . . there were only 3 woman originally, and no writers of color. . .and when this fact was pointed out to the meme's creator, he tried to pull the "colorblind" crap. . .I mean, c'mon: no Joyce Carol Oates? no Richard Wright? no Maya Angelou? no Annie Dillard? no Toni Morrison? no Kate Chopin? no Virginia Woolf? no Ernest Gaines? no Ralph Ellison? no Langston Hughes? no Zora Neal Hurston? C'mon these are off the top of my head. . .
