#210 one two three four
So my Japanese little sister has arrived. Her name is Suzuki Miyako. Lovely girl, but awful shy. She does everything so delicately, I feel most uncouth when I'm near her.
Miyako-chan speaks only a smattering of English and I only a smattering of Japanese, so we get along famously.

Oh oh! I have a job! Starting tomorrow I'll be a Research Assistant to some Senior Lecturer at the local university. Work mostly involves writing up reports and proofreading, ought to be good. It's only part-time, until the first week of September, but it's something to do. The pay is decent and it will look so good on my CV! ^^
