An 8 hour bus ride and there I was. In any anthropologist's dreamland. Turn to the left: ruins. Turn to the right: more ruins! It was soo cool. I was a little confused on the timeframe though... the tour guide we had was a little contradictory.. but he was quite the character. Sounds way cool. Looking forward to your pictures. I would be a bit unnerved about an elephant tapping me on the head,too. Hope your colleague finds out what is wrong with her foot.
Do people get mumps these days? I remember Jeff Pies got them when we lived in CO.
