This weekend I'm going to Mysore. Just a two day trip. It's being payed for by USAC, which is a pretty sweet deal. The only downside is Jacob. He is the person USAC hired to help us out to acclimatize to Bangalore and India. He's the one who we go to with questions. Wow...Jacob MUST be bad. He pushes your buttons more than me? Ouch! :)

Hope your trip is good, despite the Jacob factor. Must be some sort of character building exercise...

Interesting about the library system there. So different from our own. Glad you found a used book store. When mom and I were in Riverside she showed me the cool little bookstore by the Mission Inn. I found so much cool stuff ther, but restrained myself. I did find something totally excellent - a 1957 paperback of the novelization of "Forbidden Planet"...I didn't even know they had one. I haven't had to time to read it yet, but it looks VERY cool (lots of info and background that wasn't in the movie).
