It's little wonder they don't want the pictures released--the content is disturbing and (I would hope) cause pretty much anyone to recoil in fear, horror, and revulsion.

I can understand why they don't want them released, but they're not substantially worse (in my mind) to the ones we've already seen at Abu Ghraib. I actually feel a little numb looking at them because it's eerily familiar. (Which is an appalling state of mind to be in.)

(As a side note, calling them "the pictures the Obama administration doesn't want you to see" sounds rather conspiracy-theory-ish.)
