I went to see Julie and Julia tonight. (By myself. That's what happens when you don't plan ahead and your friends are all out of town or have plans and your husband has to work a 14 hour day on a Saturday. But anyway. I also baked peach pie. A productive Saturday

Well, if I ever had a friend who took away my bread stick like that, I would have not reacted the way Amy Adams did. (I probably would have slapped at her hand and said, "Excuse me! Give that back!")

Do you think it's normal for women to hate their friends? If you hate your friends, why wouldn't you just get new ones?

I might try to see an early matinee with Aclaire. (I can sit in the back and nurse her if I need to.) I've heard that Julia and Paul are incredible, so I am looking forward to it.
