do you know, it's almost impossible to find purple rain to rent anymore. i had to go six places, + the most run-of-the-mill shop of them all had ciao!manhattan but absolutely no prince whatsoever.

it's mine too, i meant to mention to you. you spell it the same way, yes?

oh i had no idea!
i spell it that way, yes. to me that is the proper way- an old name book i have sites 'alison' as the male spelling and 'allison' as the female variation. but people that get all 'alyson' or whatever irk me to no end.

those don't look right to me, either. + it's strange--when i do run across the odd male al[l]ison, they always seem to have it with two l's too. i think you're the first of any spelling variation i've met with similar tastes [save alison from the cranes, with whom i share a first + last name--once did a very confusing interview].

i'd love to know a boy-allison our age, wouldn't you? i think he'd read saki + wear long fringe + pinstripes. or something.

yep.. the world of downsizing has found me at Barnes & Noble's...i work all over the store actually, but at least in the cafe i get free Chai and Mochas that are more chocolate than expresso..
