yes!! exactly!! people have a natural instinct for life, and no matter how "down" they are, that instinct is very strong. so anyway, although short, i liked our hangout. even though my jaw hurt like hell and i still had tons to read (still reading, getting extremely boring). byeee

you were way too excited just then. and I think that civilization and realism has obliterated that instinct for some people, thus creating a new outlook and insight, but this is very profound and indecipherable. I mean, depression can be chemical, but in most cases, those who don't have a prescription cure for sorrow, just realize how totally meaningless life has become...the struggle is to find what meaning is left, what purpose they can obtain. people who think that happiness and success are life's goals are totally deluded by hallmark...they are blinded by basic facts...death is universal and life dwindles, leaving us with less and less time to do what we set out to accomplish, meanwhile wondering is anything we do will even matter. I just realized how ridiculously long this comment is.
