"Leave a comment if you want to know what I really think of you, and I'll reply and tell you. No lies, all honesty.

Post it in your journal after I do yours so I can see the reverse [look, you can if you really want to and are a glutton for punishment, but it's not like I'm going to be checking up or anything]."

Obligated to do this, since I already ( Read more... )

Can I just say this? You should cosplay more often. I'm dead fucking serious here. Being a convincing Harry Potter is one thing, but the Spigot outfit was the defining moment. I don't care what you have to do: start a website, become a camwhore, whatever, just parade around a lot of visuals of yourself in cute costumes. You're a DAMN ATTRACTIVE YOUNG MAN sir, certainly in the running for most eligible bachelor in #EA, and god damn it you should FLAUNT THAT SHIT. If you don't, how will I ever justify my burning jealousyThat aside, you're brighter than I think you often admit to yourself, and I'm happy to hear that those daft fucks at the U are going to let you in (OR MAYBE NOT!! WHO KNOWS??? IT'S THE MYSTERIOUS AND FUN BUREAUCRACY OF HIGHER EDUCATION!). And on top of that you're also a pretty funny fucker too. I do sometimes worry a little, to be honest... even though our little family as a whole already ranks higher than average in terms of tendencies to fall into silent, gnawing depression and hopelessness, you occasionally get it ( ... )

My next planned costume involves three friends and Biblical literalism. The idol site and the meganekko bunny costume come immediately afterwards.

Man, Alex, I don't want to be that guy. But I gotta say, most often how I think about you is in connection with all of the ridiculous and horrible things that you have gone through on a regular basis. I should totally think first of the laughs you produce or all the awesome WoW shit you have probably accumulated, but no. It is like: "Aw man. Shit. The dogger has got to have balls of titanium by this point. His boys can shrug off a point blank .357 and laugh. They will follow it up with beer and Bruce Lee DVDs."

I'm actually a little embarrassed by this, because you're a totally great guy and I should associate you with better things than dealing with your dad or life at the gas station. Still, on the other hand maybe that shows a kind of perverse admiration, because I think you've gone through more bullshit and adversity in the past couple of years alone than I'll ever hit for the rest of my life. That's not really a good reason to respect someone, but there it is?

Reading one's brutal honesty on me on the sun should be interesting

Kunio, if nothing else you've taught me that the nation of Portugal is from another fucking planet. You hide it pretty well, a lot of the time; you can express yourself in normal, human/English sentences under most circumstances. But it can't be kept under wraps for long, and pretty soon the dialogue hits a moment where no one, least of all me, has any idea what you are talking about. I mean, you're sort of like the Manos: The Hands of Fate of the community at this point: no one really gets what's going on, but at the same time we can't look away and the results are astonishingly entertaining. In your best moments what you're saying comes across like it was beamed in from another dimension, yet at the same time (also like Manos) one can sort of perceive a strange logic in it. This is why I like you. You're a strange ambassador from another world, and I love you for it.

(oh, and your odd furry livejournal pictures often brighten up my day)

Have at it, brother.

Just remember- my entire self-image is tied up in what random folk on the Internet think about me. NO PRESSURE RIGHT

I tend to think that at any given time, the cast of #ECCHI-ATTACK! THE MUSICAL can each be graphed on a continuum stretching between a) profound apathy and b) violent oscillation between righteous anger, feverish production efforts, and a kind of self-doubt feedback mechanism. I think you (and I don't think I'm telling you something you don't already know here) tend to fall more towards that second one. Finding myself playing more often for the apathy team, I confess to finding you a bit of a mystery sometimes. I consider you a really good friend, but at the same time I can never quite figure out all the thoughts and motivations in that noggin of yours. (WOAHHHH YOUR LIFE IS A MYSTERY/WARRIOR WITH A MASK)

I have to differ with Ragu on one thing: all other things aside (writing, etc.), I think your grand and god-given talent is endless, white-hot rage. The reverend seems to think this is a liability, and I couldn't disagree more. Brooke, you hold grudges with a focus and a degree of intensity that is rare and wonderful. Your anger is ( ... )
