Barney's office, Late Sunday evening
Jim and Pam were out for a walk. They were taking the scenic route. The scenic route just happened to lead them inside the school and over by the teachers' offices. And look at this, one office was open. Imagine that.
Jim walked into the office, stood on the desk, moved a ceiling panel, and just so happened to lose his watch in the ceiling after setting the alarm to go off at 1:04 PM and turning the hourly chime on while Pam stood by the doorway and watched the hall for no reason at all.
Jim stepped down from the desk and returned to the door where Pam was standing. "Huh. I could have sworn I had my watch a minute ago," he said.
"How weird," Pam said, looking astonished. "Maybe you just forgot to wear it? Are you sure you even own a watch?"
"Well, I'm not wearing one now, so I guess not," Jim said. "Weird. Oh well, no reason to dwell on it."
Pam nodded very seriously. "We should go find something to do that's far away from here," she said, leading the way out of the room and down the hall. "That place strikes me as very annoying for some reason."
