So Thursday night I leave for Nanaimo to shoot this indy horror film, and while I only have 4 days of actual shooting, I will be in Nanaimo (the Harbour City according to their webpage) for almost 2 weeks! I am being put up, sharing a room with various actors as they come in and out, being fed everyday by set catering and getting a $25 per diem ( ( Read more... )

One of Carolyn's sisters married this large Dutch guy that I refer to as the Extremely Large Dutch Brother In Law, or ELDBIL. The ELDBIL has a father who's relatively small by his family's standards (he's only 6'2" or so), but who survived Nazis and famines and could probably go ten rounds with Chuck Norris in a no-holds-barred cage match ( ... )
