With Lyman at StuCo for the next hour, this was the perfect time for the teacher-on-teacher prank war to commence.

Barney darted through the hallway, pausing at every corner to give Jim hand signals, informing him that the hall was totally omg free of witnesses to their attack.

He totally thought he was the king of stealth.

Jim maintained a casual walking pace behind his "mentor." You know, as casual as you can be while carrying a box full of mice.

Jim wasn't sure what the hand signals actually meant, so he just kept walking.

Barney paused when he reached Lyman's office and gestured wildly for Jim to cover him as he bent to inspect the lock. He didn't even try the knob before pulling out his Amex and shoving it into the space between the door and the frame.

Jim looked down the hall and made a face of disbelief about what Barney was doing. He wasn't even sure how he was supposed to be covering for Barney. It's not like a student holding a box outside an office was normal.

So he stood slightly off to the side so that anyone passing by would be sure to see that Jim was being supervised by a teacher.
