i hate it when people take the lords name in vain. its so common , i dont know iF they dont care, or if they dont know how wrong/ offensive it is.

when i read the name jesus christ i almost feel like i have thought of some thing bad because everyone uses it as a cuss word. i dont know, does anyone know what i am trying to say?

a friend of mine used to say "God's last name isn't damn it!"

i used to have a problem with that, and i felt funny about saying "oh, lord," so what i started doing was inserting the name of one of my favourite writers, audre lorde. so now, when i get annoyed with something, instead of "jesus christ" or "oh, lord," it's "audre lorde!" heh. well, it worked for me.

I absolutely know what you are talking about..... I have to admit, that is one of my downfalls, but something that I am totally working on.. there was a sermon on it about a week ago and it really opened my eyes to what i was doing
