Hmmm... kinda not so spoilery though... even Whedon wouldn't ever have had enough mana with the editors to kill off that character. Unless they kinda just want to kill off the whole X-men entirely now (which might or might not be a good thing).

Anyway.. *waves* Long time no talk! Have an Ian Ball of Gomez solo album: hxxp://www.sendspace.com/file/mz7rsc

WE have to fill in the Astonishing gap time somehow, after all.

Yeah, I didn't consider it particularly spoilery, either. That sort of 'death' with Whedon is nearly always a red herring and I agree with you. No way they're letting him kill that one with the way things are now. Though I wonder sometimes if they really Do want to kill off the whole X-Men franchise with the way things have been going lately ( ... )

Bwhahahahahaha. That would've been awesome, really. If ever there was a moment that called for a Jean resurrection reference, that was it.

I'd have also loved to have seen something in the scene with Emma and Kitty where Kitty's trying to get her to talk and Emma just looks at her watch and says, "Hmm...you really have been gone a while, haven't you, dear? Don't be so dramatic. He should be back in fifteen minutes or so."

I think that character was never in contention to be the one.

Thanks for sharing, tho'
