Closed form poetry should go to hell. Here's my first attempt at a sonnet anyway - it's due on sunday for critique so any advice would be great.

NEVERLAND

My heart will forever find a way to ache
When I think about the smile on your face,
I see it every time I wake
When my mind is still off in a faraway place.

The place where true love will always be waiting
And the sun never ceases to shine,
Where I will always be stating
That here you are eternally mine.

The place where you can still remember dreaming
And your eyes reflect the sky,
Where the stars still have meaning
The place where mysteries go to die.

But it is a place that exists only in my mind,
A place that you will never ever find.
