gobias some popcorn is starting to take form! in the form of a list of movies that we are planning to watch. and they're super exciting and i really (really!) can't wait for summer to start
( Read more... )
off the top of my head: hannah and her sisters, house of d, the triplets of belleville, state and main, i <3 huckabees (if dave hasn't seen it. or even if he has!), radio days, everything is illuminated, howl's moving castle, match point (when it's released), the pianist, high fidelity
my list looks crappy compared to yours, rach. im really surprised by your lack of 80s movie watching experience though...
triplets of belleville was good. i wanted to see state and main. saw huckabees. i heard everything is illuminated sucked compared to the book. howl's is on my list too see (animation night??) match point was excellent and high fidelity is my favorite movie of all time.
keaton! i have a lot of those. you def. should watch narnia, because i'm a geek like that and i love it and i bet you would too... possibly finding neverland? some freaks and geeks, even though it's not REALLY a movie? and THE GURU? cmon... uhhh adaptation? hotel rwanda? JUST FRIENDS because it's hilarious? i am sam? the life of david gale? memoirs of a geisha? ratrace? thumbsucker? GHOSTBUSTERS! (but i have eulogy and good girl and pretty in pink and all the ones i listed above, and you can totally borrow them as long as i can watch once in a while too!! :-P) and i'll probably have way too many more by summer
