Maybe it's because I've been thinking about music lately, and I still want to do a post on my current soundtrack.

- Overall theme: I need a dollar by Aloe Blacc. OK, so the song lyrics are serious, but the music... well, you know this zombie apocalypse gonna be a comedy, right? If god has plans for me I hope it ain't written in stone (hey! hey!).
- First kill: Self-esteem by The Offspring. I have a feeling my first kill would be like, the zombiefied high school version of me. And I sang this song out loud on a train once, with a friend, causing much disturbance in the (afternoon rush hour) force.
- Chased by horde: Meatier Shower by Mark Mothersbaugh. Oh I was wondering when my soundtracks would pop up! From "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs," a movie I did not expect to like as much as I did...
- Kill loved one: Remember the Moon by The pickPocket Ensemble. Not sure how this one fits. It's all melancholic and farcical at once. Perfect for killing a loved one, maybe.
- Survivors: Roslin confesses by Bear McCreary. More soundtrack! Yeah, I can see this one accompanying the discovery of a ragtag group of plucky survivors of the zombie apocalypse.
- New love interest: Gyöngyhajú Lány by Omega. Strangely enough, this is the song I want playing at my funeral, shot glasses raised high. I guess this doesn't bode well for the new love interest!
- Final stand! Taglio! by SJ Tucker. This is a comedy zombie apocalypse, after all, so the final stand is a tango! I saw SJ Tucker live in concert, the recorded songs do no justice to the guitar and drum frenzy that happens there.
- Survived it all? High Hopes by Pink Floyd. Where we pass the good stuff around, I guess.
- ...alas, a bite mark: Dani California by Red Hot Chili Peppers. This, I think, is where I bid adieu to my fellow zombie apocalypse survivors, jump in my car, run over a bunch of zombies and drive into the sunset! Down in the badlands she was saving the best for last / It only hurts when I laugh / Gone too fast.
- Credits! Deathbridge in Lethbridge by The Rural Alberta Advantage. True story, I once drove through Alberta listening to this song.
