Why can't my assignments be more like this? I was given the letter "A" by versipellis and here are my thoughts on five fictional characters whose names start with that letter...
Death Note passes the Bechdel test also because of Misa and Rem talking about rules, I think. There's really very little interaction between female characters. The other situation of note is Misa talking to Takada and, of course, they're talking about Light, so there wouldn't pass. Despite the fact that Halle is Takada's bodyguard for a while, we don't see any conversing between them.
Oh, good point re Bechdel Test. I assumed it didn't pass at all XD
But yes, Misa's totally got style! As has Dumbledore. He was a bit (or a lot) of a manipulator, but... things like "Brian", or the socks, or even his last line of dialogue (about things in your head) I just love.
I kind of like that Misa can be that outspoken and disorganised sometimes. It offsets her determination to stand by her man.
I don't know Samus, but with the taking-on-the-persona thing reminds me of how I feel about Chell from Portal ^^
