It upsets me greatly that you smoke during season. You should take your sport more seriously than that. It clearly is affecting your performance and you should not be satisfyed playing B-side. Clearly you are a freshman but the fact that you've smoked yourself sick offers up the question as to whether or not you are really trying to acheive.

a) I don't smoke during the season. I smoked before it started when I was in Canada.

b) The reason I play rugby (as opposed to football, or lacrosse, or wrestling) is because it's not a varsity sport, it's a game played by a social club. I can take it as seriously or as lightly as I want to. I take it seriously enough not to smoke weed while I'm actually in season, and to work hard in training and in practice. But it's not the most important thing in my life either. Other things take priority. I achieve in other parts of my life. Rugby is for fun.
