It's working very well for me. I think this next three weeks would be difficult if I was in an office environment, though. As it is, I have no doubts about making the lifetime status by christmas.
If you're seriously thinking about it, I've heard there will be another free registration period ($20) at the new year, which would allow you to purchase the start-up kit ($24) from the get-go. Or (I don't know who you work for, but it sounds like a large company), you might be able to get at-work meetings if there are a number of people interested.
thanks, k! I need something to get me going on some exercise, there's some slack skin hanging around here. it's okay in the winter, but I don't want to be wearing jeans and long sleeves come summertime. I think once I get the lifetime thing and free up the money I spend going to meetings, I'm looking for an affordable gym membership.
No problem. I knew a woman who lost over 100 lbs in a year and she joined the Y so she could swim before work; and she also walked at lunch. Not too pricey. She looked good--not flabby at all.
the Y is one of my top choices. we did that a couple of years ago, but now that it's just me without the kids, and my age, I think I get a break on the cost. there is a new community fitness center that should be finished early next year, and I think our health insurance offers some kind of discount at curves. it's high time I started exploring these.

I can't believe it--almost 18 lbs! That's a lot. And you lost weight the week after T-giving. Congrats.
