I think that highschool IS too young to have sex.
It just seems like we're still so young and still have our whole lives ahead of us, and it just seems like a risk thats not worth taking.
-You could get pregnant
-You could get a diesease

Even if you really love that person and you want to, I just think we're too young to make such a huge commitment. Its too big of a leap to take for being so young.
But thats just my opinion.

Or having your mom walk in and losing trust in you. I'm sure that would be a big problem. Crap im a freshman in college and i still got the big v and im dang proud. I also think its your decision and that you know when you're ready or not. I just think i wasnt ready in highschool.

I don't think it's too young. I think if you make the decision to have sex, you can handle the consicouces. haha wow i cannot spell. and i've been thinking about it a lot lately, i highly doubt you will get pregnant using protection. and if you get tested with your partener to make sure you have diseases or not. and blah blah blah....etc etc etc. i just don't think it's too young.

i dont think that you have to be certain age, i think you have to have a certain level of maturity, and have to be willing to deal with whatever consequences that may come your way.

i agree that it is not an age level but more a measure of maturity. some people at the age of 30 are bredding like rats but can't even take proper care of themselves and act like 2 year olds and its sick. then theres a teenager who is more mature than that person and is with someone who they love and it just feels like the right thing to do and isn't promiscuous about it and takes safety precautions. so basically im saying age aint nothin but a number and for some people high school is perfect age to have sex, and for others, they will just never have the responsibility level that it takes to make such a committment.
