[It's been a little while already, but Cid still is hardly used to doing...well. All but absolutely nothing. Considering how hectic his life was before this, it's an enormous transition. Trust me, it has not been easy adjusting to this world, these wings, and civilian life as a whole. That a friend from my own world is here as well makes the transition easier, but even then, only slightly.

Civilian life in a situation like this one, or in general? Having a friend around does help than if you were alone.
