[ Madoka sighs in relief on the other end. If something happened to Mami, again, Madoka would have another mini breakdown. ]

[ "Did you get a letter?" is what Madoka wants to ask. But somehow, that seems to scary a question to ask. ]

[ Madoka's not sure how to handle being worried about. She tries hard to keep people from worrying in the first place. ]

...if you didn't get a letter, then please don't consider yourself involved in this. You would be able to help tremendously just by staying safe; the last thing....yes, the very last thing I want is for you to be hurt.

... Don't worry, I... I know, I need to hide to be safe, but... I can't hide unless everyone is going to hide with me, so...

[a quiet chuckle; it's amazing, the effect Madoka can have on her. Even in these dangerous situations, just hearing that kind of optimism makes her feel better.
