Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
He's about 5'7 and really thin. Pretty much no muscle at all.
2. How old is he?
Twenty years old.
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
He tends to slouch slightly, but if he's trying to get a point across or making a dramatic morality speech he'll straighten up. He usually keeps his arms really close to his body, stiff and narrow by his sides, which makes it look like he's always feeling awkward about his environment.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
He doesn't have a lot of stamina, but he has no illnesses or disabilities, so average at best.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Definition of clumsy. He drops things, bumps into people, trips on mostly everything, you name it. Also very tense, keeps to himself almost always.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
If you like the boy-ish looking male, Ryotaro's a pretty attractive guy. He probably doesn't think highly of himself though.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Lightly tanned, good complexion with no scars, though he'll frequently have one or two plasters on his face on account of how clumsy he is.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Jet black and long all over, with a fringe that goes just below his eyes in length, but he keeps it generally well kept so it doesn't obscure his vision.
9. What color are his eyes?
Hazel.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Unless you count his appearance drastically changing more times than you can count in short amounts of time No he does not.
11. What are his chief tension centers?
Well they-wait, his what?
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
He usually dresses casual 24/7; jeans, hoodies, t-shirts. His definition of formal would probably be one of those checkered short sleeved shirts over a t-shirt.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
He pretty much only wears what fits well, so I think his entire wardrobe is centered around anything that he finds comfortable.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
Nope, he dresses the exact same while working as The Milk Dipper as he does when he's off work.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
...uh...I'd say Boxers.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Higher than most guys, but rather smooth.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Slowly in any regular circumstances, rushes what he's saying when he's nervous or scared. He basically speaks at a speed that's relative to how much time he thinks he has to say it.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? Constant hesitation in his voice, in the sense that there're a lot of pauses when he speaks, throwing in a lot of 'um's and 'uh's. He may also repeat something he's said in a different manner to make sure the person he's speaking to understands what he's trying to say, or give additional details following any sentence.
Example would be like "This is...a really nice place. Eheh. I like it...how long have you had it? This place, I mean."
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
Only japanese, and fluently.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Nope.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
He's so bad at speaking to people that he will pause mid-sentence to try and think of how to finish said sentence. He'd be an atrocious public speaker.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Inarticulate to a T.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
He's neither. High school drop-out and gets beaten up regularly for being stupid whenever he pretty much leaves his house by angering gang members and the like, usually unintentionally.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
In a sense, he thinks on his feet, but it's more being completely reckless. He never thinks about himself when it comes to dangerous situations, so he may run into combat head first despite knowing he's a shit fighter and get his ass handed to him.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Completely intuitive. Ryotaro speaks and thinks from the heart, not from the brain. In fact, most of the stuff he says could easily make people think he's either naive or just stupid, but he'll always act on his emotions no matter what.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
He's a high school dropout, so not great.
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
Ryotaro is pretty shit at everything. Really. He doesn't even show any kind of hobbies or things he wants to excel at.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
TOTAL INTROVERT he is so damn quiet.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
He's an emotional sponge, in the sense that unless there are people around him upset, he'll generally be pretty apathetic. Not in the unfeeling way, rather he'll keep a neutral mood constantly. If people around are upset or angry, he becomes upset, if others are happy, he's happy, because he lacks any kind of selfish nature whatsoever. He'll always act based on his surroundings, not on his own feelings, because as a person, Ryotaro is optimistic and cheerful, despite never really showing it in his facial expressions. Nothing gets this kid 'really' down, he'll only ever get as upset as you'd expect someone who feels bad for a friend to get upset.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
He's really timid; he's not great at meeting new people and generally shies away from social situations. This will change if it's someone who needs help or something, but even then he'll keep that hesitation and quiet nature about him.
9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
React 24/7. Never acts unless something makes him.
10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Flight if it's just him, fight if there are people to protect.
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? Ryotaro in the show rarely...laughs. He might laugh at some things, but it's never full on from the gut laughter. He has this awkward little nervous chuckle. So it's really hard to say. He would probably only appreciate harmless humor, and jabs made at other people, gallows/bathroom humor and pranks won't go well with him.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
None.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
His parents dying, his potential brother-in-law disappearing, finding the Den-liner pass.
14. What does he fear?
People getting hurt. He's afraid of a lot of things, but the only thing that truly scares him is his friends, or even random strangers, getting hurt or dying. He doesn't want to lose any more loved ones and he doesn't want anyone else to either.
15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
Nothing really; mostly to make sure everyone else around him is happy and safe. Also to make sure time doesn't explode or some shit.
16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
He'd probably be unwilling to share his parents fate with others unless he feels he can really trust them. My headcanon is his parents died on his birthday when he was a year old, so I think he wouldn't want people to know about it so he doesn't have to celebrate it. I know he's supposed to be the 'nothing-bothers-him' character but I like to think that one day is the thing that truly would bother him even now.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
This sums it up perfectly!
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
He has one sister named Airi, and they get along great. They hardly ever fight and care for one another greatly.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
Nope! His grandmother is dead, grandfather is presumed dead, never show any of his other family members either.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
He considers everyone who he is friends with as family. He's one of those 'cares-too-much-gets-too-attached' types.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Momotaros...probably. He's closer to him than the other imagin and he was pretty much the first real friend he ever had, during the course of the show. They met when Momotaros attempted to form a contract with him and take his life in exchange for a wish but it didn't work, leaving Momotaros stuck in Ryotaro's body.
6. Does he have other close friends?
The Imagin, Hana and...Owner probably. Also Miura and Ozaki but they go to the milk dipper to see Airi and conversations they have with Ryotaro don't really indicate a friendship, moreso a forced civility between them. They try too hard and just make Ryotaro uncomfortable.
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
He has trouble making friends with people because everyone takes advantage of his good nature, or find his behavior pathetic and just mock him for it.
8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
Friends=Family to him. So there's no way he'd choose.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Single.
10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
Nope.
11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
Never had one.
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
Nothing.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
He actually has a grandchild who traveled to 2007 from the future to help him fight some evil dudes called Kotaro. At first it seems like they are nothing alike; Kotaro is strong, confident and cold towards everyone. It turns out this is in fact a ruse however, and he aspires to differ himself from Ryotaro's unprofessional behavior on account of how pathetic and useless he sounded, relying on the four Taros imagin to fight for him. He eventually sees how strong and brave his grandfather is, that he works with the Taros, not relying on them purely, and Kotaro also shares Ryotaro's incredibly bad luck.

Kai, but only Kai. Otherwise he has no rivals or enemies.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
I'd say he's a 0. Nothing says otherwise in any possible way.

Nope. I'd say he's the shy 'OH GOD YOU CAN'T MENTION THAT IN PUBLIC' type.

Beliefs

Looking too far into this is so much effort, so, here.
Practical and prudent; ambitious and disciplined; patient and careful; humorous and reserved.
Prudent, Patient, Careful and Reserved. SO I GUESS SO.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
Neither.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
He will do anything for anyone else and put everyone around him before himself, even strangers. He adopted this mindset because he's endured so much pain during his life that he's become the most empathetic thing in existence and doesn't want anyone else to endure any kind of pain or hardship because he knows what it's like to suffer. The only exception is harming others for someone else, unless that person is evil or has done something terrible, he won't do it.
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
I'd say he accepts everyone and everything.
5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
None.
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Comfortable. Not rich, not poor.
2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
Middle-class, has no real social status to speak of.
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
He lives in the milk dipper, which is the cafe he and his sister run that his parents used to own. It probably has residence somewhere on the second floor. It's in a nice condition and is kept in tip-top shape, so it's a really nice atmosphere.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Nothing really. Just the basic necessities.
5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He helps out at the milk dipper. He does a good enough job and would never leave it.
6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
He...didn't really, but once he became Den-o, he devoted his free time to that.
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
I think that if his sister didn't keep an eye on him, he would skip meals. I don't think, IMHO, he would be the kind fo person who'd take care of himself too well if someone else didn't remind him to, since he spends so much time on others. Also he gets injured a lot and is pretty reckless in battle, which just adds to that idea being right.
