Day 5; the arrival

❄  Welcome to Cell C:

In which Serah awakens for the very first time since her crystallized slumber. She finds herself in a cell with ten others, including Snow, her fiancé. Good thing her hero has his coat on, because it's about to come off. Right now.
❄  The Three-Way Conversation

Even though Serah and the other the captives are being held on suspicion of theft, everyone was still mysteriously provided with functioning communication devices, including Snow. This is not the point. The fact this conversation is taking place on Snow's communicator is also not the point. The fact that there's a familiar voice coming from the other end of the line of Snow's junogam is. And Serah thought she might never hear her sister's voice again. Where are you?

❄  The Beast
The Beast. 'nuff said. Apparently something was stolen?

Day 6; release

❄  As Long as We're Together

After a day of waiting, Serah and the others are released from their cells early in the day, much to their surprise, considering the item--a rose--had yet to be returned, or the thief come forward. However, Serah's not about to question the Beast's reasoning, and sets off with Snow to find her sister. They pick up a few familiar stragglers along the way before Serah finally reunites with her sister. She has so much to tell her, and even more to apologize for.
❄  Asking is the Hardest Part

As the Beast is apparently holding a masquerade the next day, it's understandable that people are going to have questions. Maybe they don't even know what a masquerade is. Aigis is one of these people. And in her, Serah finds a friend. And upon the conversation's termination, Serah hopes that no matter what differences and difficulties Aigis may have, that they will never be able to stop her from doing what she wants to do.

Day 7; the ball

❄  Will You? | Living a Fairytale | Maybe a Book?

Serah finally puts her communicator to use. Mostly to find out one thing: will Lightning consent to going to the masquerade? She can already guess her sister's answer: no. Even she has trouble imagining her sister there. But that doesn't matter; she intends to ask. She wants to make as many new and vibrant memories as she can, in as much time as she can, because she can't be certain of what future will bring, in this world, or back home. And along the way, she learns about the similarities between their current location and a certain fairytale popular in another world, and she also discovers that, at least for some worlds, there is life after death--just not the way you might want to imagine. She also talks a little bit more to a familiar boy with a symbolic name.

Day 8; leaving

❄  Tale As Old As Time

After what Ichigo Kurosaki told her about the story of Beauty and the Beast, this conversation brings a certain happy ending to mind.

❄  Straight Out of the Wild Wild West
Serah meets an honest-to-God cowboy, right down to that there accent. She's happy to hear he has a family back home waiting for him. He just needs a bit of that wily Lady Luck on his side.

❄  Finding Our Own Happy Ending

The caravan is making ready to leave, and the castle is mostly empty and deserted, but Serah still wants to walk through it just one more time before they hit the road. And Snow's just the man to accompany her. It's been awhile since they've been able to have a few moments to themselves. They have a lot of catching up to do, and she wants to spend as much time with him as she possibly can.
Day 9; on the road again; tbc...
