[Out by the lakeside, there's a bit of a commotion. It sounds as if there's a constant earthquake of some sort going on in one controlled area, along with someone shouting ... something. It'd be easier to hear or understand if whoever was listening got a little closer

[A man stands nearby, watching Leon hurl spells around. Magus was out to do some training of his own, but upon seeing the young man, he found his interest caught. Those were some nice spells, and even Crono and Frog would be impressed by the swordplay.

After a couple of minutes of just watching, he decides to announce himself in typical Magus fashion. Namely, stuff blowing up.] Dark Bomb!

[The attack smashes into one of the stone walls as it's falling, shattering the debris and sending it scattering. Magus smirks as dust and pebbles fall on the ground.]

[That right there damn near gave Leon a heart attack. Hearing the spell name, he immediately turns and looks in Magus' direction, turning back to see what the spell is doing.

After a few moments of watching the debris fall to the ground, Leon looks back again.]

Is this something you normally do? Interrupting the training sessions or others?

No, that would require talking to people too much. [Magus looks Leon over, smirking sardonically.]

Hn. I suppose it would. [Even if this man isn't presenting himself as a threat at the moment, he's clearly powerful and not someone Leon knows of. He'll be keeping Chal out for the time being.]

[Farah's rounding the woods with a bread basket. She was just out for a walk. Why a bread basket? Just in case she runs into Stahn again, or that white wolf that Taichi mentioned to her the other day, Ammy. It's a nice day out anyway, so there was no reason not to. o/ The noise catches her attention, so she's going to take a look.

...Wow, this man fights... with so much grace! It's... reminiscent of Ras, actually... :( But he casts spells like Keele and Meredy! The spells have the same name, too!

She was just going to watch quietly, but at one particular attack, she can't help but call it out.]

Ah! It's a Pikohan Pow Hammer!

[With Pow Hammer being a much ... quieter attack, Leon definitely caught that. He turns to look at Farah immediately, complete with a glare and a fairly annoyed tone. No one disses his Pow Hammer B|]

A-ah! It's just... so unexpected... Between all the strong spells such as Grave and Ground Dasher and the sword moves, a Pow Hammer just... really sticks out! I didn't mean it in as an offense, please don't take it that way!

[Insert annoyed sigh here. As he sheaths Chal, something clicks in his mind.]

... You know of those spells? Where are you from? [He almost sounds as if he's attempting a long distance interrogation, but he's honestly just ... curious to see if she's from the same place.]

[Sup, have a Genis also by the lakeside, watching with interest. This mage is catching up on practicing his spells, so don't be surprised if he casts a Stalagmite! of his own.]

[That did surprise him momentarily, but he goes right back to practicing afterward. Don't feel creeped out by the fact that he's keeping an eye on you while he continues his training, Genis. You don't look like a threat, but hell, anyone using magic has the ability to become one.]

[Leon's still practicing away, but he can feel that someone is nearby, watching him. After a short while, he stops for a moment.]

What do you want? [He can't tell who's there, obviously, so he only really said that to show that he knows someone's there.]
