Short version: The vacation was wonderful. I got to spend time with wonderful people (friends&)who I miss. I got in a pair of amazing photoshoots. I had to do entirely too much driving, but that was offset by Laura generally being there to keep me company ( Read more... )

Yes - Richmond sucks. It has a few charms, but I can count them on one hand. We're glad we're leaving.

Richmond sucks. Eventually I'm hoping that they'll pay me or someone like me to start correcting that. Yeah, I felt terrible about only seeing y'all for an evening and an afternoon when you'd come down from Pitt. Clearly, this is a sign that I need to visit. When would be a good time?

Visiting would be amazing. I think just about any time after January. We should arrange things.

And I agree, people should pay you to fix Richmond. I bet you'd make a lot of progress. I bet it would cost a ton though. And I don't know what you'd do about the hordes of miscreants who wander to and fro and obstruct traffic.
