Why is everyone on a soap box about webcomics and webcomic communities all of a sudden?

I mean ... do people actually take all this shit seriously?

Oh, that's easy, and I'm going to answer it while avoiding my own soapbox, or opening my own cans of worms. Here we go.

Webcomics is something people do for fun, a hobby of sorts they do for their own enjoyment, as well, as to refine their own skills and what not. Thus it would only make sense for people to take it seriously, just like any other time consuming hobby.

And I'm stopping there, because I almost did jump on a soapbox.

I applaud you then. No hobby should be taken THIS seriously.

Maybe if you were actually a webtoonist you'd understand.

OH SNAP! ^^

dude, just because I'm working on a project that hasn't been published to the web yet (we're still doing character designs and initial plot lines), it doesn't mean I'm not a webtoonist.... Fucker

Excuse me, Prof, but aren't you taking this whole webcomic thing too seriously, now. Dave made a joke at your expense, and you overreacted. I think you're the one taking this whole thing too seriously, now. :p
