Preston, studying his friends, swallowed hard. He then motioned ot the bed and the floor where he'd set out a Four Librian Soldier Uniforms-complete with helmets and bulletproof vests. He then set out a collection of prisoners uniforms-dark gray and black ( Read more... )

Wells lifted one hand. "The sooner we get this over with the happier I'll be," he said. "Word of advice. If y'run across someone who looks like me, and you're not sure if it's me or not, kick him in the shins. I can all but guarantee you, you'll know which of us it is after that. I'm told I can curse a nun's eyebrows off at fifty paces when I'm mad enough."

Beat, "Just be careful getting in with your emotions." Preston murmured, "....There might be clerics."

He had given brandt the evening off-so here was hoping that there wouldn't be-BUT.

"I'll keep a leash on 'em," Wells promised. "Anything else I need to know? Mandatory responses, things like that?"

"If we do this quickly and quietly there won't be any responses."

Of course-nothing ever goes that smoothly.

"However, in the event of a massive attack usually father's stand-alone sweeper force will be sent out. Pluse anyone Else in Libria."

they're kind of devoted to him that way.

Sarah cracked her knuckles once more, one at a time, but shook her head, "Not besides who's playing who? Guards and prisoners."

( mun still at work, apologize in advance for patchy tags, should be home in approx. two hours)

"It's reall a matter of personal choice." Preston said smiling, "i'd suggest people more familiar with miltiary operations play the guards, however..." He shrugged, "They're ultimately just parts.

She nodded, "Makes sense." Because, really, it did. She sat back then, listening.

"We'll need three guards and three prisoners." Preston murmured, "Once inside I'm going to have you, Mr. Universe-" he pointed to another nervous looking fellow head for the computer rooms marked on the map here.

Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a square piece of paper and handed it to Sarah, "I need a poweroutage after Mr. universe has knocked the computers out."

"What kind of security will we be up against?"

Because her guess of 'a shitload' isn't specific enough to act on.

"There are six guards at the station and twelve patrols of two that roam the hallways about every twenty minutes." Preston said, "At any time a guard can walkie for assistance."

And by his tone, the mun is basically telling you that'll definatley happen.

Well, when things can hit the fan, they usually do.

"They have any sort of check in schedule?"

Reply

fathers_cleric February 6 2006, 00:12:47 UTC
"Their usually the ones who have to remember it." Preston murmured, "It's twenty minutes per checkstation and there's a checkstation at the end of each hallway."

Mr. Universe is twirling a pen nervously in his hand, and nods as he reaches for the map.

"I can do that, easy. I met your friend Partridge, and I'm gonna make a copy of all the files before I delete them."

"Excellent."

Because you know, as much fun as destruction can be-it'd be kind of bad to have it be totally desetructive.

"How much time do you think you'll need to have that accomplished?"

"That would depend on how many there are and how fast the computers work. How fast do you need me to have it done?"

Reply

fathers_cleric February 6 2006, 00:20:04 UTC
"as fast as possible." Preston began to pace, "Once the computers are down it'll be impossible for Father's standing army to get a fix on us."

It seems that whatever world you're from, you're always going to be dependant on computers.

"How many civilians can we expect to run into?" Because collateral damage tends to be something of a Very Bad Thing, in her opinion.

"None whatsoever." Preston murmured, "The Palace of Justice is off limits to anyone except Father's higher elcheon."

"And they're all quite happy to die for the chance to kill everyone else," Mary chimes in from a corner of the floor.

Sure, most of you have no idea who she is.

She's not really seeing the relevance in introducing herself, though.

"Mary..."

There are things that one should say in this scenario. The things a brave soldier would and should say to the woman he thinks he loves-before going off to war.

They all kind of die.
Max might notice the flailing.
